Antifragile

You may think, dear readers, that after she returned home, those episodes of pain never happened again. Wrong. She was punished for sharing her truth two or three more times.


Ironically, Dr. Jekyll, with his inhuman thirst for power and control, ended up demonstrating Nassim Taleb's concept of antifragility. Her body, having endured so much pain and chaos, became stronger. Her mind, sharper. In the end, he proved that humans possess a divine power to regenerate themselves.


The strange dreams persisted, yet in time she found a way to keep uninvited guests out of her sacred space.


However the real hidden battle is against innocence. As innocence is corrupted in those early years, an army of soulless monsters is created, spreading their chaos and pain into empathetic hearts.


It is clear, though, that innocence must be protected at all costs.


And in that battle, she goes all in.
